Air Spading safely exposes tree roots and collars by using a specialized air tool that does not damage the tree roots in the process. Air spading can be used to expose root collars, trench lines through tree roots without damaging those roots for utilities, and be used to explore or investigate tree roots prior to excavations or other work.
